We were overwhelmed with the many beautiful women who reached out to our model call a few weeks ago. Thank you so much to everyone! Something drew us to the 3 models Brandy, Lindsey and Brittany we ended up picking and we had such a fabulous day playing around.
We asked the models to bring some of their own clothes and combined them with what we had.
Ami Sanchez of Full on Glam was our talented make-up artist and the one and only Madeline Raspe of Mad About Hair did a few different signature hair styles. Braids anyone? How about in the back of your hair to look unique with a hat?
It was so much fun to get our #dreamteam back together!
Maddie was generous to open her house to all of us, serving mimosas and yummy snacks. Since the weather was cold and dark we used her property for most of our backdrop so we could warm up if need be.
I can’t think of anything that is not in style this season. Leopard, faux fur, houndstooth, buffalo plaid … pearls, anything metallic or sparkly are offered by almost every retailer. Best if you mix it up to add your own fashion sense. Whatever your style might be, you can not do anything wrong by simply wearing what you want!
Zara has great puff sleeve blouses, Asos the best coats, T.J. Maxx has amazing scarfs and I am sure you can find cool stuff at your favorite places to shop.

How fun to get together with a bunch of women playing dress up and coming up with hair and make-up looks that are not your every day kind of looks. Ami really had fun with it, even painting on freckles! Why not brush those eyebrows while you’re at it. The silver lips and gold eye shadow are perfect for Christmas or New Years. All I know is I want to go to whatever party these ladies are going to!
I personally spend way too many years in black jeans and a black blazer. Now I added a lightning bolt jacket to my growing jacket collection and trust me it turns heads. Good or bad.
So don’t judge, just have fun dressing up for the holidays and every day of the year!
